Winter staycations in North East Wales
North Wales is renowned for being in the top 10 destinations in the world according to Lonely Planet and it makes for the perfect holiday getaway.
Our corner of Wales has stunning coastline, rich heritage and family adventures. With an area of outstanding natural beauty, quaint rural towns, stunning coastline and an 11 mile long World Heritage Site.
We know how difficult it is to plan a holiday during these expensive times. It’s difficult to escape the news bulletins and the uncertainty of rising costs. However, sometimes a last minute staycation may be what’s needed to gain a little perspective, without costing the earth. North East Wales is much nearer than you think and surprisingly easy to get to keeping your travelling costs to a minimum. We are handily placed for the A55 expressway to the west, the M62 travelling east, the M53 and M56 going north and the A5 and M54 heading south. Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham are all less than 2 hours away, and even London and Glasgow aren’t too much of a push.

The sound of our little mini Shetlands wandering around the lodges will make you imagine there are lions patrolling the area and an early call of the fox could be a hyena in the distance..
