Mold Library

Mold Museum

The museum traces the fascinating history of Mold. There are bronze age treasures to see including axes, jewelry and a replica of the Gold Cape. The museum has displays on the famous sons of Mold and life around the town. You can experience Victorian Mold through the eyes of Welsh novelist Daniel Owen who is seen in his reconstructed study and tailor’s shop.

Admission to the museum is free.

The museum is situated in the library building in the centre of Mold, opposite the post office on Earl Road. It is a short walk from the bus station or town centre car parks.
