North East Wales does not collect any personal data about you on this website apart from information that you volunteer either by emailing us or by using the online registration and enquiry forms.

Web analytics

We use a web analytics tool to enhance content provided on site and to analyse site usage, including how users arrive at our site, what they do on the site, what browser they are using and on what operating system. User tracking

North East Wales will make no attempt to identify individual users. These entities may be in a position to identify the client computer equipment used to access a page. Such monitoring would be done by the provider of network services and is outwith the responsibility or control of North East Wales.

Log files

Log files are maintained and analysed of all requests for files on the North East Wales server. Aggregated analyses of these log files are used to monitor website usage. These analyses allow North East Wales to measure for example overall popularity of the site and typical user paths through the site. All log file information collected by North East Wales is kept secure and no access to raw log files is given to any third party.

 

External websites

We use Youtube as an external web service on the North East Wales website, mostly to display videos within our web pages. This is not an exhaustive or complete list of the services we use, or might use in the future, when embedding content, but these are the most common. We cannot prevent these sites, or external domains, from collecting information on your usage of this embedded content. If you are not logged in to these external services then they will not know who you are but are likely to gather anonymous usage information e.g. number of views, plays, loads etc.
