Autumn Activities at Ruthin
School’s back in and the leaves are starting to turn but there’s plenty still happening at Nantclwyd y Dre and Ruthin Gaol this September, and beyond…
Nantclwyd y Dre Weekly Happenings and Forthcoming Workshops
The weekly wellness in nature (Thursdays and Saturdays), garden tours (Fridays), and volunteering sessions (Mondays), (all included in normal admission), are continuing throughout September with the addition of an introduction to stained glass workshop by Brian Duffy.
Local Loyalty
For our local communities who haven’t yet experienced the new-for-2024 updates and interactive trails, we’re offering 20% discount on all admission types at both Ruthin heritage attractions. The offer can be claimed by residents from our three most-visited destination postcodes throughout September.
Halloween at Ruthin Gaol
Although we close for the season on 30th September, Ruthin Gaol will reopen for the Autumn half term. Coinciding with Halloween, expect plenty of spooky fun, games, and crafts included in normal admission all week (October 26th – November 2nd).
Psst… we don’t like to blow our own trumpet but we’re thrilled to say that Ruthin Gaol has received a Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice award this year! More on that here.
So, plenty of opportunity for weekend wanderings and family days out.
